Arusha, Tanzania “Geneva of Africa”

The Arusha City is located at the beautiful slopes of Mount Meru – the second highest mountain in Tanzania after mount Kilimanjaro.

The Arusha city is a tourist’s gateway to Tanzania’s major National Parks such as the Arusha  National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater -one of the seven wonders of the world and Mount Kilimanjaro National Park , just to mention a few. As such Arusha is the pivot of Tanzania’s tourist activities and in recognition of these facts, the government, non-governmental organizations and other well wishers have deliberately and still they are and perhaps they will continue to establish various infrastructure systems to facilitate transportation and communication. Arusha is well served by the Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) and the Arusha Airport. The great South-North road from Cape Town to Cairo also passes through the heart of Arusha. This along with others cements the fact that Arusha is a multi-link city and one of the fastest growing Cities in Tanzania.
